Opened in late 2015 New York Beer Project is well designed and a wonderful pub inside and out. NYBP offers a unique feel as well as great food and drink options. NYBP earns a 5 Wheelz rating.
Parking: The handicap parking at NYBP is in front of the building and is paved. There are ramps to get up to the sidewalk. If there are no available handicap spots, there are a couple of rows behind the section of handicap parking that are paved. The other half of the of the parking lot is not paved as of right now.
Entrance and Exit: New York Beer Project offers a couple of different entrances and exits. The main entrance offers plenty of space to enter, however, there are not automatic doors. It's still fairly easy to enter as the doors aren't that heavy. The secondary entrance is in the Tap Room, which has a vintage feel to it, is also easy to use. That entryway allows you access to the Tap Room, or you have to go through the dining room in order to reach a host station. There are different menus in each location.
Seating: New York Beer Project offers many different seating options. There is plenty of seating in the main dining room which the choice of booths or tables. You can also sit at the bar and have appetizers. There's patio
Bar: There are two bars inside the building. There's The Taproom, which has a vintage feel and a modern look with exposed duct-work and a lot of iron work. There's also The Grand Central Bar which is a "Steampunk" industrial vibe. There are not many options of low seating, but the bar is low enough to order drinks or snacks and speak with your party.
Restroom: The restroom is fully wheelchair accessible. The handicap stall has grab bars and is big enough to easily maneuver with plenty of room to spare. The sinks are at the perfect height to wash your hands. The paper towel holder, soap dispenser, and anything else you may need is at the proper height.
